Celebrating Birthdays!
Exploring magnets... learning about how different poles attract or repel, and what materials magnets can pull through.
The students did a wonderful job on their Saint projects. They had fun sharing them during our school Saint museum.
Learning about gravity and friction... we had a lot of fun making wobbly, dancing turkeys!
Building words with pretzel letters.
Enjoying our "Flashlight Friday" reading time!
First Reconciliation... So very proud of these kids!
Learning about the color and uniqueness of snowflakes by creating our own.
Little did we know that March 13 would be our last day IN school this year. It has been an emotional roller coaster adjusting to the fact that we are missing out on so many experiences together, and instead finishing our year through e-learning packets and virtual lessons, crafts and read a-louds through zoom. I sure miss all the kids' smiling faces, helping them to learn and grow, listening to their stories and laughing with each other. We are finishing our school year "together" and supporting one another along the way. I'm so very proud of each of my students for working so hard in this unusual situation and grateful to all of you parents for giving your child the support and guidance they need to learn at home.
So proud of all the kids' hard work as we finished this school year in "quarantine" at home. Our final zoom was so much fun and we still managed to get our last day of school picture!
